Bestow Education is proud to announce a partnership with Citywise Education as part of our corporate social responsibility policy.
This will see 5% of all our sales from our Online English Classes and Corporate Classes going to help fund the programs offered by Citywise Education. This agreement is in place until 31st December 2020.
Citywise Education is a not-for-profit organisation that provides young people with after-school and out-of-school educational support. It is aimed at helping young people growing up in difficult or hostile environments. Citywise’s educational, sporting, and personal development programmes raise the sights of young people, give them an enthusiasm for learning and open up possibilities for further education.
Daire Hennessy from Citywise Education advised that this funding will ‘be a great help towards ensuring our educational, STEM, and afterschool programmes, which serve over 1,000 young people each year, continue to strengthen communities’.
He continued ‘Citywise Education programmes help raise the aspirations of young people living in underserved areas and support them to reach their full potential. Over the last 25 years, we’ve developed programmes that we know work. Each year, we help over 80% of our students progress to third level education, combat the digital divide in education and provide fun, engaging ways for young people to develop their interests and become leaders in their own communities. We are delighted to partner with Bestow Education as we work towards scaling our programmes and thank them for their support’.
